Other than that little snafu, it is simply a cold and dry morning out with temperatures around Ferndale in the mid-30s. This morning, the National Weather Service upgraded the standing Flood Watch to a Flood Warning for the Nooksack River. A flood watch is issued when the possibility of flooding exists and a flood warning is issued when flooding is imminent or already occurring.
