A Sunrise Street resident discovered a steady stream of water emerging from the ground by their driveway this morning and called 911.
Ferndale Public Works crews responded and located a break in a water main. As a result, water service to the neighborhood was shut off in order to make repairs.
According to Public Works Supervisor Bo Westford, residents on Sunrise Street, between Vista Drive and Malloy Avenue, were impacted. Water service to impacted neighbors is expected to be restored before noon.
