Proposals include doubling the city portion of property tax, increasing utility rates and approving a budget that is said to be 40% larger than this years.
While the agenda was light, a lot of information came out of the meeting.

Final investigation reports were discussed prior to determining what disciplinary actions, if any, would be taken.
The proposed options include a base plus 4 levels of increasing volume charges.
Consultants hired by the city will present options for adjusting utility rates in order to cover the treatment plant upgrade, bringing a 3rd well online and ongoing operation costs.
Ad hoc council committees will review the investigations and make recommendations for further action to the full council.
State law requires Ferndale City Council members must reside within the Ferndale city limits.
