Northwest Washington Fair opens 2026 exhibit entries

WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — The Northwest Washington Fair opened exhibit entries for the 2026 Fair. Entries are being accepted for Open Class, 4-H, and FFA departments.

Competitive categories include:

  • open class departments for all ages
  • FFA departments for students in grade 8 through age 21
  • 4-H departments for youth ages 5 to 19
  • still life divisions including agriculture, artwork, baking, canning, flowers, hobbies, photography, quilting and sewing

Submission deadlines for online entries are as follows:

  • animal entries online deadline is July 8, 2026
  • late animal entries are accepted through July 12, 2026, with a $25 fee per head
  • animal registration papers submitted after July 31, 2026, incur a $10 fee per animal
  • still life entries online deadline is July 24, 2026

The Fair is scheduled to run Thursday, August 13, 2026, through Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 1775 Front Street in Lynden.

Gate admission prices are as follows:

  • general admission (ages 13 to 61) is $15
  • senior admission (ages 62+) is $13
  • youth admission (ages 6 to 12) is $10
  • children age 5 and under are free
