Inland Whatcom County high temperatures expected to reach 80 degrees in some areas

WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — The region is entering a brief warm spell. Temperatures will peak Sunday and Monday as an inland ridge of high-pressure builds.

Seasonal high temperatures at the Bellingham International Airport are around 60° at this time of the year.

A maritime push is expected late Monday night into Tuesday, which will drop temperatures by 5° to 8° in areas across the county.
