FERNDALE, Wash. — A second suspect was arrested and booked into the Whatcom County Jail yesterday leaving 1 other suspect still being sought following a reported July 3rd home invasion burglary at a residence on Aldrich Road.

According to the Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO), deputies were dispatched on July 3rd at about 7:20am to a private residence in the 6100 block of Aldrich Road due to a report of what officials referred to as a “home invasion style burglary.” It was reported to deputies that 3 people had entered the residence, assaulted 2 occupants and then fled the area.

An injured suspect, Antini J Saselli, age 31, was arrested later the same day and the WCSO said they were searching for the 2 other suspects, identified as Danielle N. Coakley, age 34, and Steven D Scharton, age 37.

Whatcom County Jail records indicate Coakley was arrested and booked into the jail about 6pm, yesterday, July 6th. She was charged with suspicion of first degree burglary, first degree attempted robbery, first degree assault and fourth degree assault. Sheriff Bill Elfo said Coakley was captured in Snohomish County.

Saselli and Coakley have prior convictions in Whatcom County Superior Court for felony possession of controlled substances. Scharton was already scheduled to appear in court in next month regarding charges of forgery, theft, identity theft and bail jumping.
