WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — The National Weather Service Seattle office today, Thursday, November 9th, issued a wind advisory for Friday and Saturday across western Whatcom and Skagit Counties along with San Juan County, the Admiralty Inlet area and north coast.
The wind advisory will be in effect from 4pm on Friday, November 10th through 6am on Saturday, November 11th. Southerly sustained winds of 20 to 30mph with gusts up to 50mph are expected.
Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. National Weather Service (November 9, 2023)
