The event collects toys for little kids, gift cards for teens and donations for the annual Holiday Giving Store program.

A 2021 grant from the city will help to provide financial compensation for the position.
They are also accepting applications from eligible low-income families with school-age children.
The fund is available to households needing assistance in paying their City of Ferndale utilities bills due to financial impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic.
"We look forward to being back to our former level of service as soon as possible."
A grant from the Mary H Storer Foundation may have provided the final push needed to reach the funding goal.
Over $3,000 has been raised in donations from the community so far.
"Many of us are wanting to give back to the community in as direct a way as possible – and this is one way to do that."
The Center is only open the 1st Saturday of each month and Tuesdays thru Fridays.
