The following results of interest to Ferndale voters have been reported by the Washington Secretary of State Elections Division with over 820,708 state-wide ballots counted and an estimated 251,363 ballots on hand yet to count.
The public is invited to attend a debate tonight between candidates vying for the 42nd District Legislative Position 1 seat currently held by Luanne Van Werven (R) at the Ferndale Public Library.
Several candidates are running for over a dozen federal and state political positions in the upcoming state primary election on August 2nd. And some have scheduled a debate to happen in Ferndale.
