FERNDALE, Wash. — Puget Sound Energy (PSE) reports about 2,060 of their customers’ addresses are without power in Ferndale, east of the Nooksack River.
According to PSE, the outage was first reported about 12:35pm today, Wednesday, July 23, 2025. No cause was cited as of 1pm and the estimate for restoring power was 4pm.
First responders were dispatched to a report of a car versus pole crash in the 5700 block of Northwest Drive about 12:25pm. While not confirmed, this is a likely cause.
Businesses and electric traffic signals have been impacted, including those on Main Street and Slater Road.
