National Weather Service issues heat advisory for northwest Washington

WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a heat advisory on June 20, 2026, at about 11:40am. According to the NWS, the advisory remains in effect until June 23, 2026, at about 11:00pm for portions of northwest and west central Washington. The NWS statement notes that high temperatures between 85° and 95° and low temperatures between 55° and 60° are expected from about 11:00am on Monday to about 11:00pm on Tuesday.

According to weather forecasts from meteoblue, daily high temperatures across 16 locations in Whatcom County are forecast to peak on Tuesday before decreasing on Wednesday.
