Many other roads remain closed across the county.
The Nooksack River is expected to crest again below action level in the east county and below flood stage in the Ferndale area.
Officials at Everson and Nooksack had better news.
The announcements follow widespread flooding.
They warn, "Additional flooding events are possible next week."
Overnight, the forecast changed from “moderate” to “major" flooding.
This flood event is being compared with the 2021 mid-November flooding disaster.
