You Should Have Received your Primary Election Ballot by Now

2015 primary ballot sample - header slugThe Elections Division of the Whatcom County Auditor’s Office mailed out voters’ ballots for the August 4th Primary Election on July 15th. If you are a registered voter and have not received yours yet you are asked to contact their office at (360) 676-6742 any time Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm.

Not all Whatcom County voters will participate in the Primary Election because only certain districts are on the ballot. But if you live in or near Ferndale you should expect a ballot as you will be voting on city council and mayoral candidates (if you live within the city limits) as well as candidates for district #3 port commissioner (if you live most anywhere west of the Guide Meridian).

Ballots must be postmarked by Election Day, August 4th, or deposited in an official ballot drop box by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day. Voters are encouraged to return their ballots early.
