UPDATED: Power outage stretches across Bellingham neighborhoods, business district

BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Puget Sound Energy (PSE) reported an outage in the Bellingham area began shortly after 8:45am on Saturday, June 13, 2026.

According to PSE, 4,262 of their business and residential customer addresses were impacted by the outage.

As of about 9:20am, the estimate for restoring power was noon. The cause was under investigation.

By 9:45am, the number impacted was down to 367, the estimate for restoring power was still noon and the cause remained under investigation.
