WSP seeking witnesses and in-car video to hit-and-run collision

BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The Washington State Patrol (WSP) is actively investigating a felony hit-and-run collision involving a pedestrian that occurred at approximately 11:45pm on Friday, May 19th, on E Badger Road (SR546), west of the roundabout at Bender Road.

During the incident, the pedestrian was westbound on E Badger Road when they were struck by an unknown vehicle. The unknown vehicle continued in an unknown direction. At this time there have been no witnesses to this collision that have provided a description on the running vehicle.

WSP is asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has any information about the involved vehicle, to email or call Detective Dan Comnick at Daniel.comnick@wsp.wa.gov or (360) 654-1144.

WSP detectives are also requesting any in-car dash camera footage from anyone who went through the area around the time of the collision.
