While there are limited details available via the city’s online resources, it is obvious work has begun on the property between Vista Drive and Washington Street.
Many noticed when a residence was demolished at 4th Avenue and Vista Drive last week. In addition, work is visible on the Washington Street side in preparation to connect the project with the city sewer system (this will require closing Washington Street Monday night).
What information we can find is conflicting. Permits indicate an 8-unit 2-story multi-family building with 16 bedrooms for a total of 7454 square feet but the city has recently referred to the project as a “25-unit complex.” According to the permit, the new building shall be addressed as 2043 Washington Street.
The owners are listed as Jaskarn Gill and Saroj Gill of Gill Holdings LLC.
