Tara Doyle and Tia Lloyd celebrated the first anniversary of opening their store, Tiara Fashion Plus, at 2074 Vista Drive last month. This week, they announced their decision to close the store.
The sisters, Lloyd and Doyle, opened Tiara Fashion Plus a year ago February. They had always wanted to go into business together and some life changes gave them the impression it was time.
But Lloyd said her sister’s schedule got busier and Lloyd’s family was missing her being home. The store’s last day to be open will be March 25th.
They posted their sentiments to fans on the store’s Facebook page, “We will miss everyone so much. We both love our little shop and this decision was not easy for either of us.”
The plan is to resume online sales in May according to Lloyd. But the sisters haven’t ruled out making another storefront comeback later. They posted to the store’s Facebook page, “Later, who knows? We do enjoy it and may be able to reopen at a later date.”
