- 5pm The Ferndale School District announced the Fire Department will conduct cadet training at the Mountain View School site Monday, October 10th (we’re seeking clarification on that). Community members should not be concerned if they see fire and/or law enforcement vehicles in the area.
- 11:45am Police and aid responded to a two-car crash at Barrett Road and West Smith Road. Accident is blocking the roadway. Unknown if any injuries.
- 7:50am Police responded to a vehicle versus deer collision at Malloy Avenue and Brown Road.
- 7:35am a reader reported a young bicyclist was hit by a car in a crosswalk on Washington Street by the railroad tracks. More information here.
