It has been a long while since anyone could cruise Slater Road during a weekday at the posted 50 MPH speed limit. But that is due to return soon according to project managers at Whatcom County Public Works.
According to Project Manager James Lee, the Slater Road/Nooksack River Bridge Painting Project will be completed by Friday, October 30th.
According to Project Manager Kevin Thompson, the road widening at Imhof Road and Ferndale Road project is now complete save for one last street light pole to be installed during the last week of October.
