BELLINGHAM, Wash. — First responders were dispatched to a report of a car crash in the 300 block of Boulevard shortly after 9pm Sunday, November 16, 2025.
According to radioed reports from the scene, the vehicle had left the roadway and ended up on a trail below before becoming fully engulfed by fire.
According to the Bellingham Police Department press summary, the incident was identified as a fatal collision.
The trail below the roadway and all lanes of Boulevard were closed for an extended period following the incident.
The driver was later identified as a male who was a senior attending Sehome High School.
