Power outages leave over 2,000 without power in north Whatcom

EVERSON, Wash. — Power outages, large and small, have been reported across northern Whatcom County at according to Puget Sound Energy (PSE). These followed high winds across the area overnight and through the morning.

As of 2pm, over 2,000 PSE customer addresses were reported to have been impacted.

Gusts over 40mph were reported in some locations. “Trees/vegetation” were cited as the causes for the outages.
