Following a chase through backyards and using a tazer on the individual, Ferndale Police cornered a suspect with warrants in a house on Front Avenue adjacent to Centennial Riverwalk Park. US Customs & Border Protection provided helicopter support.
FPD was waiting on a search warrant and K-9 patrols before entering the house.

People had not been asked to stay away from the fountain at the park.
Update: 4pm
Suspect was taken into custody without incident.
