Pacific Highlands Water Trouble Short-Lived

city public works truck door - stock photoEarly this evening, July 28th, neighbors around the Pacific Highlands neighborhood found themselves dealing with low water pressure. Minutes after a few asked via social media if others were also affected, Public Works Foreman Jim Slaughter picked up on the conversation and headed out to investigate. In the mean time, an operator at the water system plant was also investigating a computer issue.

Between the efforts of the two city staff, water pressure returned to normal within 30 minutes. Afterwards, Slaughter pointed out, “We have great plant operators.”
