The Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife has curtailed fishing on several rivers and streams across Washington but the stretch of the Nooksack River through Ferndale remains open.
A recent trip to the beaches by VanderYacht and Hovander Homestead Parks saw several fishers with their lines in the water hoping to catch some of the “Pinks” currently making their way upriver. Boats can also be seen anchored and drifting in the current too.
