High Wind Warning issued until 4am 8am

As if on cue, right after a gust of 70mph was reported in Ferndale, the National Weather Service upgraded their Wind Advisory issued earlier today to a High Wind Warning.

The advisory forecast gusts up to 50mph. The warning expects gusts near 60mph. Like the earlier advisory, the strongest winds are expected late this evening into the overnight hours.

The advisory was expected to last until 8am but the more recent replacement high wind warning expires at 4am. The warning was updated at 3am to expire at 8am.
