Friday morning update

Today’s morning commute – weather – events. Right here in Ferndale.

8am: Good morning. Temperatures are in the low 60s around Ferndale under overcast skies. Air quality is being reported in the GOOD range. Today is the last of three days forecast to reach highs in the 80s. Yesterday’s high of 85° at the Bellingham Airport set a new record for the day. The previous record was 83° set in 1958

TRAFFIC
Washington Street between Vista Drive and 3rd Avenue remains closed to through traffic until October. The official detour route is via Vista Drive and 3rd Avenue.

Resurfacing work on I-5 is not scheduled to resume until Sunday night.
