City staff say the plan is to turn on the fountain at Ferndale’s Centennial Riverwalk Park Monday, May 2nd.
This will be just in time for what is forecast to be a wonderfully warm Monday with a high in the 80s expected.
The fountain is typically run from May until the end of September from 9am to 8pm. Bathrooms by the fountain will be open during these hours.
Last year the fountain was temporarily disabled when an expensive component was broken due to soap that was used to vandalize the fountain.
