National Weather Service (NWS) forecasters updated their forecast this morning to include a note that the warmest days of the year so far are possible Saturday and Sunday.

NWS forecasters say the change in temperatures will be the result of an upper ridge that will begin building offshore tonight. The ridge will shift closer to the area this weekend bringing the warmer temperatures.
