President Joe Biden and Governor Jay Inslee today issued proclamations directing US flags at federal and state facilities be lowered to half-staff in remembrance of the 500,000 Americans who, to date, have lost their lives due to COVID-19. Flags are to be lowered immediately and remain at half-staff until close of business on Friday, February 26th.
Other entities, citizens and businesses are encouraged to join this recognition.
