Linda Quinn will continue to serve as superintendent of the Ferndale School District through 2020 after the School Board extended her contract by 3 years.
The School Board voted unanimously in favor of the 3-year contract extension during Tuesday’s regular board meeting.
Quinn has been the superintendent of the Ferndale School District for 8 years, having been hired after Superintendent Roger Lehnert passed away unexpectedly in 2009 at age 66.
According to meeting documents, Quinn’s annual salary will be $175,609 with annual performance-based increases possible. This is approximately a 10% increase from the $158,473 initial salary set in a previous contract (2014-2017). She was originally hired in 2009 at an annual salary of $150,000.
