FERNDALE, Wash. — According to court records, a Ferndale man is facing 2 counts of 2nd-degree assault of a child, a class-B felony, following an investigation by the Ferndale Police Department.
Lonny Airon McQuiston, age 37, was arrested November 5th by Ferndale Police after they were notified about a child with visible injuries and conducted interviews with the victim and the victim’s parents according to a probable cause affidavit filed in Whatcom County Superior Court.
McQuiston knew the victim at the time of the assault the affidavit said.
McQuiston was released November 6th after putting up a $50,000 bond according to court documents and was scheduled to reappear in court for arraignment.
