At approximately the same time, both primary entrances to Ferndale from I-5 were blocked due to totally unrelated circumstances.

A private contractor will be working on Washington Street again between 3rd Avenue and Golden Eagle Drive Wednesday. While the road will not be entirely closed as it was last week, it will be reduced to one lane with alternating traffic.
