While it may get better, Main Street is already backing up onto I-5 as we head into the evening commute.
As things look now, about 4:55pm (see pics), consider taking alternate routes off I-5 such as Portal Way (then heading to either Washington Street or north to Brown Road) or Slater Road (to Ferndale Road or Imhof Road) to reach your Ferndale destination.
