Bellingham I-5 lane and ramp closures scheduled for overnight April 7-8

WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) will close the right lane of northbound I-5 and the Lakeway Drive on-ramp for maintenance. Crews will perform mowing along the freeway during these periods.

Tuesday, April 7 to Wednesday, April 8

• Hours: 9pm to 5am
• Scope: The right lane of northbound I-5 will close from Iowa Street (milepost 254) to SR 539/Guide Meridian (milepost 256).

Wednesday, April 8 to Thursday, April 9

• Hours: 9pm to 6am
• Scope: The right lane of northbound I-5 will close at Lakeway Drive (milepost 253).
• Ramp Closure: The Lakeway Drive on-ramp to northbound I-5 will be closed.
