6:20am: Good morning. It’s a cold but dry and still morning. Temperatures around Ferndale are in the low 40s. That’s a bit cooler than the upper 50s we enjoyed during yesterday’s windstorm. Gusts up to 65mph were recorded in the Ferndale area during that windstorm, enough to create a large but relatively brief power outage.
