UPDATE 6/8 – the playground is ‘officially’ open.

While there was a celebratory ribbon cutting and kids got the chance to romp on and around the playground yesterday evening, as of this morning it is closed until further notice.
The weather has been cooperating for the most part as neighbors and local businesses rally together to build what the Parks, Recreation & Trails Advisory Board determined in 2012 was missing, a community-size playground.
