Candidate forums organized by the Whatcom County League of Women Voters (WCLWV) will be held online this year and broadcast both live and in recorded form afterwards through Election Day, November 3rd.
The schedule for live broadcasts is as follows:
- Washington State 40th Legislative District House and Senate seats – Sept. 30th from 6:30pm to 9pm
- 40th District Position 2 candidates: Russ Dzialo and Alex Ramel
- Senate candidates: Charles Carrell and Elizabeth (Liz) Lovelett
- Whatcom County Superior Court Judge positions – Oct. 1st from 6:30pm to 9pm
- Position 2 candidates: James Erb and Evan Jones
- Position 4 candidates: David E. Freeman and Jim Nelson
- Washington State 42nd Legislative District House representatives – Oct. 7th from 6:30pm to 9pm
- Position 1 candidates: Alicia Rule and Luanne Van Werven
- Position 2 candidates: Jennifer Sefzik and Sharon Shewmake
- Washington State Congressional District 1 Representative – Oct. 8th from 6:30pm to 9pm
- Candidates: Jeffrey Beeler and Suzan DelBene
- Washington State Congressional District 2 Representative and Whatcom County Public Utility District No. 1 Commissioner – Oct. 10th from 9:30am to 12pm
- District 2 candidates: Timothy Hazelo and Rick Larsen
- PUD Commissioner candidates: Christine Grant and Jeffrey McClure
