Applications were received by the city for a project that would be, if permits are granted, located in the undeveloped field at the center of the Samuel’s Furniture parking lot.
According to the Site Plan Review application submitted to the city, the plan is to build a 6800 square foot building in the lot that is zoned as “mixed-use commercial.” The site plan drawing accompanying the application show a single-level building with a drive-up window and a patio with tables and chairs.

The application does not indicate if there is or who would be an intended occupant for the building.
Samuel’s Furniture Owner Eli Samuel was unavailable for comment when contacted for this story.
