LYNDEN, Wash. — First responders were dispatched to the 100 block of Birch Bay-Lynden Road in Lynden yesterday, April 11th, about 1:30pm due to a report of a body near a small unnamed creek.
Lynden Police Chief Steve Taylor told Whatcom News via email today, April 12th, that upon their arrival officers located the body of a deceased white male. The man has since been identified but this information is not being released at this time pending notification of his family.
Taylor noted the cause of death was not apparent at the scene. The Whatcom County Medical Examiner’s Office will conduct an examination of the body to determine the cause and manner of death.
