
A 4.3 magnitude earthquake was reported to have occurred off the coast of Oregon about 4:40pm today.
According to the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network, the earthquake’s epicenter was located west of Eugene Oregon and a few hundred miles offshore in the Pacific Ocean. The depth of the earthquake has been reported as about 6 miles.
Nine hours earlier at 7:23am another earthquake was recorded in the same area but miles closer to the shore. It was reported as a 3.1 magnitude quake also at a depth of about 6 miles.
No tsunami warnings have been issued.
