Young Bicyclist Injured in Bicycle/Car Collision

A 13-year-old boy collided with a car while riding his bicycle this morning, October 9th, about 7:30am near 3rd Avenue and Washington Street. Initial reports indicated he suffered a leg injury but it was not life-threatening. Police and aid responded (occurred on the same block as Downtown Fire Station #41).

According to an announcement from the Ferndale School District,

The student’s family arrived at the scene. Emergency personnel transported the student, with non-life threatening injuries, to the hospital.
