BOW, Wash. — Officials with Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) announced today, June 19, 2025, that by 2pm they would be reopening the section of Chuckanut Drive (SR11) closed since April 22, 2025, due to a rockslide that covered both lanes.
The 58-day effort to remove the fallen debris and stabilize the rock wall above the roadway required removal of over 3,600 tons of debris, including over 15 boulders the size of an SUV. In addition, 125 feet of guardrail was replaced.
