Winter weather outlook for western Washington (video)

The Seattle office of the National Weather Service has produced a video explaining their forecast for this winter season as well as the short-term forecast for the upcoming Thanksgiving weekend.

To summarize the forecast, odds are December will be warmer than average and January through March will be colder. There is slightly increased odds for flooding and windstorms in December and a higher possibility of lowland snow than was seen the last two winters during January.
