The National Weather Service (NWS) Seattle office has issued a Wind Advisory for 1am to 10am Friday.
The advisory warns to expect sustained southwest winds of 20 to 35mph with gusts up to 50mph. Winds are expected to increase quickly this evening and peak during the advisory period.
The advisory was issued for areas near the Puget Sound from Olympia to Bellingham and the north and west waterfront locations of the Olympic Peninsula
