We Are Not Being Invaded

Military aircraft flying over Ferndale are not part of an invasion force. Rather they are participants in the Abbotsford International Airshow happening this weekend just over the US-Canadian border north of Lynden.

Neighbors have already reported seeing a military helicopter as well as fighter planes in formation. All aircraft are part of the airshow.

A 6-mile “no fly zone” (aka NOTAM) has been set up for the weekend around the airport but aircraft from the show are often seen even further out.
