City staff confirmed the water flush project will eventually extend across the entire city water system. This means, if you live within the city limits, it will eventually happen in your neighborhood in the upcoming months.

Late yesterday it was learned the water flush project will continue, starting next Monday, April 11th, in neighborhoods south of Thornton Street beginning in the blue segment and moving east as shown on the map below. As with the water flush in neighborhoods north of Thornton, which is wrapping up this week, it is expected each section (as identified by the different colors on the map below) will require two days of “flushing.”
Discover Ferndale will provide updates as the project progresses. Public Works crews are also putting out street signs in neighborhoods letting neighbors know where they are.
