As was reported last week, public works will be performing a water flush of the water system in areas north of Thornton Street over the next several days.
The schedule is that today and tomorrow neighborhoods mostly northwest of Church Road and Thornton Street (see map) will have their local water mains flushed.
In addition to the open hydrants, neighbors can expect to see sediment in their water that has been stirred up by the process. Refer to the advice and recommendations listed in last week’s report on this to prevent or react to discolored water that may result.
