Utility companies issue updates after yesterday’s call for conservation measures

Puget Sound Energy and Cascade Natural Gas Corp. officials are saying today that yesterday’s calls for conversation by both commercial and residential customers have ended and normal usage can resume immediately.

Puget Sound Energy officials released a statement today saying,

Thanks to a combination of efforts from our customers and partnering with other Northwest utilities, the natural gas system has stabilized and Puget Sound Energy is beginning to return to normal operations following the rupture of the Enbridge natural gas pipeline Tuesday evening in British Columbia, Canada.

Cascade Natural Gas officials also released a statement saying

Cascade Natural Gas is grateful for the conservation efforts by its customers in western Washington as the natural gas system works its way back to normal operations following a pipeline rupture Tuesday evening in British Columbia, Canada.
