7:50am: Good morning. Temperatures are in the low 50s around Ferndale under dark cloudy skies with a breeze from the south. That breeze from the south is helping to keep the smoke and ash from a peat bog fire in Delta BC from fouling the area’s air quality.
TRAFFIC
Washington Street between Vista Drive and 3rd Avenue remains closed to through traffic at least until September. The official detour route is via Vista Drive and 3rd Avenue.
I-5 roadwork between Ferndale and Blaine is scheduled to resume tonight. Click here for the schedule of Main Street on- and off-ramp closures planned for this week.
