UPDATED: Traffic Alert – Flooding impacting Iowa Street at northbound I-5 ramps

BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Drivers were reportedly backing up the I-5 off-ramp at Iowa Street to avoid driving through what was said to be a 2-foot deep pond of surface flood water across the roadway.

According to the Washington State Department of Transportation, the ramps remained open as of 3:45pm.

WSDOT said the off-ramp was closed as of 5:30pm
